The LASER ACTING METHOD was developed in response to a market flooded with so-called acting teachers and courses, most looking to take advantage of performers. There's a world of misinformation (and, quite frankly, lies) about what is actually required to deliver honest, authentic, and BOOKABLE work. This technique. That method. She used XYZ to get into character. Or he did such-and-such to deliver the award-winning performance.
Hi there. I'm Gideon Emery, a working actor with over 30 years of professional experience on stage, in film, TV, in voice-over and in motion capture. I've trained a lot. I've done a lot. I've seen a lot. With hundreds of credits on IMDb, odds are that you've seen, heard or played me in something. And after 3 decades working and supporting myself exclusively as an actor, I know a thing or two about what it takes. Both to deliver on cue AND to survive in this business.
The answer to both of these challenges is the same: authenticity.

So I took what has worked for me, and I broke it down into a system.
A system that I call the LASER acting method.

If you do become famous, great! You'll have more freedom in the kinds of roles and projects you get to explore. But if your aim is simply to be famous, I'm afraid to say you are in this for the wrong reasons.
Why? Because wanting to be famous is not sustainable. Unless you experience a miracle and get discovered in a bank, or playing guitar in the street (shoutout to Charlize and Bieber), you have to be prepared for a long journey with pitfalls and challenges along the way.
Also, if your singular goal is to be famous, in my experience, you are probably overestimating your ability. The best performers and the ones with longevity in this business are the ones who remain humble and come from a place of curiosity and gratitude.
